MTNL, Microsoft, and I2Tech

Here we go again...

I got a new MTNL broadband connection yesterday. In true MTNL format, the jackasses who came home connected the router, and left, and since only my net-unsavvy mother was at home... now I cannot access the net from home.

Menewhile, CSE-IITD has taken initiative in organising I2Tech, an openhouse in IITD where the industry will apparently be visiting the labs of all depts of IITD. Basically, as Dr. Gomes put it, the CSE is making the whole insti run for them. DBEB has actually invited 60 ppl... what that means that 60 ppl have been sent invitations by post, with nobody bothering to follow up.

The posters that have been sent to us are, as was to be expected, again screwed up. Jhina and Mehra are trying to fix things. Since we have to use MSWord or Power Point to get things right... what to expect from Microsoft. All sorts of unconnected, illogical, inane, goofy situations are being exhibited by the computer.

Damn MTNL. Damn Microsoft. Damn CSE. Damn I2Tech. Damn them all.
