The destruction of the anklet

To destroy the anklet, it is necessary to take it to the barycentre (i.e. centre of mass) of the binary system in Galaxy Anachromanta. When brought to that particular point at a particular time, the anklet will glow and tell how it is to be destroyed. So our hero now sits on a ray of light and travels on to the binary system. On the way, he encounters the beautiful mermaids of Havanta, with one of whom he begets a talking tadpole.
